I would not recommend this hotel to others. We arrived on a Sunday morning and the lobby was packed with people and luggage. We waited over 5 hours for our room. Service was poor. We kept being told, "It wouldn't be long," until 5 hours had elapsed.
We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant and it was very poor (no healthy choices; french fries that seemed to be breaded) and the service was even worse. There was one waitress for the entire restaurant and the cook kept coming out of the kitchen to wait tables. People who arrived after us were served before us.
The hotel was basically a dump. It was shabby and dirty. The sheets on the bed looked like they hadn't been changed - all wrinkled. The bathroom tap was dripping constantly, paint was peeling away, carpets were dirty, etc. Essentially, this is one of those unkempt, older 2-story motels. I've stayed in 2 star hotels/motels that were better than this one.
The other problem was this place was very noisy. There seemed to be some party people nearby and the noise travelled easily through the units. Since the units were accessible only by the outside (motel style), every time someone walked by, you would hear loud clomping.
Another major drawback was location. Yes, it is in the vicinity of the airport, but there are no other stores or restaurants nearby. We did walk to a strip mall later in the afternoon, but it was about a mile and a half along a very busy freeway.
The one redeeming feature was the garden in the back. It had very nice lush foliage and a swimming pool. Also, the 5 a.m. shuttle was right on time.
